Alexandre Glize is an eclectic guitarist; from classical through jazz to flamenco and rock , his play is fairly representative of his training and life path. He began his musical studies in Paris with Therese Baudouin, friend and student of Alexandre Lagoya. After a few years break, a new life near Spain and Law university, he came back to the guitar, won the gold medal unanimously with distinction two years after in the Conservatory of Pau, and straight began to teach there .
Few years later, he met Graham Devine during an international guitar festival,and moved to London to continue his formation under his tuition , and obtained a LTCL performing classical guitar with honors from Trinity College of Music. Enhancing his playing by attending workshops and master classes with guitarists and composers such as Leo Brouwer, Roberto Aussel , Eduardo Isaac , Takashi Ogawa ... Alexandre first performed classical guitar recitals , and also with the duet " Quetzal " until he expanded his repertoire to flamenco , fusion and jazz , creating his own arrangements and compositions in the "Magic Guitar" project. In France , England, Spain , Czech Republic... In concert halls, churches, bars, schools , art galleries or sports centers...He plays wherever music can be appreciated. Recently settled in Prague , Alexandre shares his time between teaching French and playing the guitar. |
